Children are born naturalists, they explore the world with all of their senses, experiment in the environment and communicate their discoveries to those around them.
We are very lucky to have such an interactive and sensory based group of babies with us here in Daisy Chain, we acknowledged that our children adore water based play and have been exploring water and animals for a long while!
We decided to take our babies to Blue Planet Aquarium where we were able to observe a large variety of fish and their environments – we spoke about the different colours and habitats each time we moved panel!
It was an absolute pleasure to watch the children delight in the changing colours as we travelled through the tunnels and rooms, we cannot wait to bring this back to nursery to make some fantastic provocations!
